"The North American Indian" was one of the most historic endeavors ever undertaken, including legends such as J.P. Morgan, Theodore Roosevelt, Geronimo, and Chief Joseph.
The Curtis Collection has selected the Bruce Kapson Gallery, established in
1982, to exclusively provide the vintage works of Edward S. Curtis and related
historic American Indian art and artifacts. Significantly, owner Bruce Kapson,
alone among his peers, has worked as a Curtis curator and independent museum
scholar as well as a consultant to both academia and governments.
